Interlocks and Covers

Interlocks and covers are features incorporated in 3D printers to enhance user safety and protect the printer’s parts. These features facilitate the smooth operation of the printer, ensuring the user’s safety and the durability of the printer.

Interlocks are safety systems that lock moving parts and ensure they operate only as intended to prevent accidents and maintain the integrity of the print. Additionally, covers are protective shields placed over delicate parts of the printer to protect them from dust, debris, or accidental contact during operation.

Using interlocks and covers properly can significantly reduce the risk of accidents. It can also help maintain the printer in optimal condition.
