G-code and Slicing Software

G-code is a series of instructions generated by slicing software, directing the printer on how to create the object with detailed precision.

Meanwhile, the slicing software takes a 3D model and converts it into G-code, essentially slicing the model into layers that the printer can then build sequentially.
